From 2 April 2025, EU citizens will need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) to enter the United Kingdom.
The ETA is valid for 2 years and allows you to visit the UK for up to 6 months by air, land or sea.
You can apply for an ETA online or via the app. It will be issued within approximately 3 working days of application.
