          Lost baggage and property

What to do in the case of lost property

If you lose any item, you can present the baggage receipt attached to your ticket at the "Lost and Found" office in the arrivals area. The clerk will initiate the procedure for the recovery and delivery of your baggage. In the event that the airline deems it necessary, you will be provided with a kit of essential items. Afterwards, if your airline uses a baggage tracking system, you'll be able to track the progress of the procedure in real time.

          Delays and damages

If you find that your baggage has been damaged or tampered with, before leaving the baggage claim area go to the lost & found office of your destination airport and fill out a PIR form (Property Irregularity Report). The Passenger Bill of Rights provides for compensation in the event of the destruction, damage, loss or delay of baggage on flights operated by EU Airlines. The claim must be received by your Airline's customer relations/baggage assistance office within 7 days of the bag's arrival in the case of damage to checked baggage, and within 21 days in the event of late delivery.
