On 15 January 2016, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority, ENAC, filed the technical documentation on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) related to the 2030 Master Plan for Verona Airport (VRN) with the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea and with the other relevant authorities.
