With our code-share agreement, Alitalia will be able to widen its flying offer, including new services deriving from Air Italy’s network. Alitalia’s customers and Mille Miglia club members, could take advantage of all flights operated by our partner and earn more miles” explained Andrea Tucci, Vice President Alliances and Network Agreements of Alitalia.
To celebrate the launch of these new routes, Air Italy offers 10.000 seats for €49 one-way, all inclusive.
Air Italy is confirming its excellent price/quality ratio that is being appreciated by customers. The airline is registering high levels of on-time performances, between 87% and 96% from June 2009 to May 2010.
Fabio Bortolazzi, President of Catullo Spa, commented: “We are really happy with the new routes that Air Italy and Alitalia announced today. Domestic connections available from Verona have now been intensified both in terms of destinations and of frequencies. This is a particularly positive result in view of the summer season and also considering a possible recovery from the recession that experts are expecting for the domestic market in the coming months, according to a recent survey carried put by Ciset (International Center of Studies on the Tourist Economy) and Federturismo Confindustria (National Travel and Tourism Federation)”.
