Air Dolomiti and Airport Catullo open the new Verona - Salerno flight
Starting from 27th July, the route will operate once a day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by ATR 42-500 aircrafts.
With this new flight Air Dolomiti operates point to point on the domestic routes and offers passengers the possibility to visit an extremely beautiful area. The city of Salerno has a very striking old town centre and is located near important tourist attractions, such as Pompei, Ercolano, Paestum, the National Park of Cilento and Diano’s Wall, Palinuro. From this ideal position it’s easy to reach the Amalfi coast, Positano and Capri. Joerg Eberhart, Air Dolomiti Marketing, Network & Commercial Vice President commented on the new route: Verona is a very important terminal for Air Dolomiti: right from its establishment Catullo was a reference point for our airline and today it’s also the place where we have our head office and operative base. Air Dolomiti continued to grow during the years and this new flight will further implement our activity by connecting two important cultural centres, thus also increasing the value of their treasures and history”. Catullo SpA president, Fabio Bortolazzi, also commented: “It’s always a pleasure for me to announce a new flight, but the satisfaction is even higher when the flight is operated by an airline that is working with us since so long and with such fruitful results. Air Dolomiti is the first air carrier at Catullo in terms of aircraft movements and with this new flight the airline demonstrated once again to trust in our airport. Thanks to a honest and firm cooperation, we have always worked together aiming at a constant quality enhancement for the services provided”.
