FROM CATULLO NEW SCHEDULED FLIGHTS TO DÜSSELDORF AND BERLIN
Inaugural flight to take off today
From today 28th May 2009, Germania will connect Verona to Düsseldorf and Berlin. Germania, the German airline with its main office at Cologne/Bonn airport and its operative base at Berlin/Tegel, will fly from Verona to the German capital every Thursdays and Saturdays, and to Düsseldorf every Mondays and Thursdays.
These two new routes to the Federal Republic of Germany will enrich the offers available from Catullo with two destinations, which are highly requested from the surrounding area.
Berlin, which is the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany with the seat of Government, is also the second most populated city in the European Union, after London. A fascinating and ever-changing city that can offer incomparable cultural attractions.
Originally founded as a fisherman’s village, Düsseldorf is one of the most important river ports in Germany and today also the business and financial heart of the Ruhr region, where some of the most influential companies in the transportation, refinery and finance fields have their headquarters.
The flights, of about one hour and a half, will be operated by Boeing 737-700.
