Italian customers already choose Ryanair for its low fares and wide route selection, and Italian customers and visitors can also enjoy allocated seating, a free second carry-on bag onboard, avail of reduced fees, a new website, a smartphone app with mobile boarding passes, and Family Extra and Business Plus services, making Ryanair the ideal choice for families, business and leisure travellers.
Ryanair celebrated its return to Verona and 2 new routes by releasing a 100,000 seat sale across its European network, with prices starting from €19.99, for travel in January, February and March, which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com until midnight Sunday (21 Dec).
In Verona, Ryanair’s John Alborante said:
“Ryanair is pleased to confirm its return to Verona from 1st April 2015, with 2 new routes to Brussels and Palermo. Ryanair will carry over 175,000 passengers p.a. to/from Verona, which will support 175 “on-site” jobs at Verona Airport, our 25th in Italy.
To celebrate our Verona Summer’15 schedule and 2 new routes, we are launching a seat sale at prices starting from €19.99 for travel across Europe in January, February and March, which are available for booking until midnight Sunday (21 Dec).”
Paolo Arena, President of Catullo Spa, company that manages the airports of Verona and Brescia, said:
“We have worked to define a new development project with Ryanair that would bring positive results for the airport and the territory as well as for the airline. These are solid prerequisites for growing together and therefore we will continue to have a dialogue about the development of the entire Garda airport system. The initial hypothesis was to begin operations next fall, but the airline examined anticipating the beginning of activities to the next summer season, which in terms of planning is imminent. The summer season is extremely important for Verona in terms of establishing positive performance for traffic and therefore we are pleased with this decision. We will work with great determination so that other results can be obtained in the medium term.”
