Fly with Eurolot from Cracow and Poznan to the Alps starting from December 1!.
Verona: two-hour flight, pure entertainment 365 days a year.
Winter flights to Verona from the airports of Cracow and Poznan will be launched by Eurolot within just one month. The first passengers will take their flights to Italy on the 1st of December. Accordingly to Polish Institute of Tourism there will be lots of tourists interested in Christmas holiday in Italian Alps. Eurolot will take-off from Cracow and Poznan to Verona each Saturday until March 31, 2013. A flight on these routes will take only 2 hours thanks to the new Bombardier's Q400 NextGen.
Accordingly to the Institute, the Polish are more and more interested in holidays during Christmas, New Year's Eve and winter school break, which are organized abroad. It is estimated that during Christmas break every fifth person seeks for holidays abroad. What is our favourite destination? One of the most popular places for ski trips chosen by the Polish is Italy. What is so tempting in this Southern European country?.
- As we can observe, also in passenger traffic at the airports, the Polish are very keen on going for a few-day trips in mountains. I am pleased that these new connections to Italy and Austria will make the distance to the favourite European slopes shorter for passengers. I hope that direct flights to Verona will please both winter sports fans and all those who look for relax only, especially that this region is famous for its entertaining possibilities – says Mariusz Dabrowski, the CEO of Eurolot SA.
"We are very pleased to announce that Eurolot will start operating from Poland to Verona Airport - said Paolo Arena, Verona Airport President - Direct connections will make easier to reach our region. From Verona Airport it will be very easy to reach the skiing resorts, thanks to Sky Fly Shuttle the bus transfer that shortens the distances by taking national and international guests directly from the airport to the ski pistes."
In winter, holiday in Trentino starts directly at the airport thanks to the shuttle service that from December to April directly connects the airport of Verona to Trentino's most renowned tourist resorts. The aim is to make these vacation areas more accessible to tourists arriving on national and international flights, thus avoiding the inconveniences of local bus line transportation and its sometimes inconvenient exchanges and timetables.
At the airport, on the days in which the shuttle is scheduled to run, you will find a hostess at a small stand, who can also be reached by cellular phone for the entire duration of the service.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.flyskishuttle.com, or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the call centre at ++390461 391111 Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
For those in love and for skiers – Verona is a region blossoming for tourists all year long. In summer we are impressed by different things than in winter, however people getting ready for ski season will definitely appreciate 1200 km of ski slopes and over 450 lifts in 12 winter resorts. Plane flight is fast and convenient what has been already tested by Polish tourists.
Within the last month of summer season the airport in Cracow served 304'212 passengers. This is more by 9% in comparison with October 2011. From January to October 2012 this amount worked out at 3 million in Cracow and this means the increase by 15% in comparison with the same period of last year. We also observed the increase in air operations by 16%. Eurolot operates 8 winter connections from Cracow. The operator has developed the route network from Poznan and from April 2013 there will be a connection to Dubrovnik launched as well.
New winter destinations are not the only surprises for skiers prepared by Eurolot this season. Starting from December 2012 till the end of March the next year passengers will get 50% off for the transport of skis and snowboards, that is PLN 50 for one-way flight. The promotional price covers the booking of tickets as well. Tickets at PLN 199 are still available on www.eurolot.com.
New routes to Italy will be operated by Bombardier's Q400NextGen that have been bought by Eurolot this year. Each Saturday until March 31, 2013 the Eurolot flight to Verona can be caught at 7.00 a.m. from Cracow and at 12.00 p.m. from Poznan-Lawica.
