Vueling connects Verona to 15 new destinations in Spain
The famous airline has been operating a direct flight from Verona to Barcelona since 2007 and from next summer this route will be served three times weekly. Form 5th July, Verona will also be connected to 14 new destinations through Barcelona, thanks to new connecting flights.

Barcelona, 15th June 2010 - Vueling, the new generation airline, will connect Verona to 15 destinations in Spain starting from 5th July. The Catalan airline will get more operational power in Verona and in the Veneto region, that are considered important tourist and cultural destinations, by offering low fare flights starting from 30 € one way, all inclusive.

Vueling first arrived in Verona in April 2007 and has increased its flying offer year by year. In 2009 summer season the Spanish airline carried almost 20.000 passengers from airport Barcelona-El Prat. Verona will take great advantage of the new connections and could be reached not only from Barcelona, but also from Malaga, Granada, Seville, Jerez, Ibiza , Minorca, Palma de Mallorca, Bilbao, Tenerife, Santiago de Compostela, Madrid, Alicante and Oviedo. Italian tourists, on the other hand, will be able to chose among all above beautiful destinations for their holidays.

We should not forget that in 2009 we registered around 815.000 Spanish tourists travelling to the Veneto region, 67.367 of which to Verona and 13.809 to the Garda Lake area” .

Right from its first arrival in Italy (opening three direct routes between Barcelona, Milan and Rome, and between Valencia and Milan, in December 2004) Vueling has been considering Italy very important for its development in the European market. Italy is now Vueling second most important market after Spain. In 2009 the airline carried 1,5 Million passengers to and from seven Italian airports: Rome, Venice, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Pisa and Verona.
