MASSIMO SOPPANI IS THE NEW BUSINESS UNIT DIRECTOR FOR VERONA AIRPORT
According to the already announced new organization of Catullo SpA, the new Business Unit director for Verona airport took his office today.
Massimo Soppani, an engineer coming from Venice, has been working in the airport sector after a previous long experience in technical manufacturing field.
In Catullo SpA, with the coordination of general director Claudio Boccardo, he will be responsible from today for all aeronautical and commercial activities of Verona terminal, with the aim to grant and improve both the quality level of the provided services and the economic results.
“Since I was first appointed as Catullo’s president I felt it was necessary to reorganize the company with more open-mindedness, in order to enable our airports to make a “change gear” – stated Catullo SpA’s president Fabio Bortolazzi. “I firmly believe that engineer Soppani, thanks to his experience in this filed, with particular reference to streamlining and cost-effectiveness, could provide a significant qualitative and competitive contribution.”
This deep company reorganization, which since last September has also involved a Business Unit manager, was necessary in order to face the new development challenges with a firm and highly motivated team, which will be able to make quick decisions, be more vigilant on cost-benefits analysis and, at the same time, have an overall view of the situations.
Thanks to the large self-government of the two Business Units (one for Verona and the other for Brescia airport) in fact, it will be easier to be more careful to the specific requests coming from our territory.
