AIR ITALY TAKES OFF FOR BRINDISI

From Monday 29th October two new connections announced:
Malpensa-Brindisi and Verona-Brindisi

Milan, October 2007The number of domestic routes offered by Air Italy is growing again and after the launch of Verona-Naples (last 17th September), the Italian airline opens two new connections: Malpensa - Brindisi and Verona - Brindisi. Both flights will operate 5 times a week (from Monday to Friday) with rates starting from Euro 65,00 one-way, including taxes and charges.

The two new connections will carry mainly business passengers and complete another step of the airline development plan.

Giuseppe Gentile, Airitaly’s CEO, commented: “After the launch of our first domestic flight Verona-Naples, we are now ready to open two new national routes.
The good numbers registered with route Verona-Naples are providing an encouraging input for our development plan. With high satisfaction we are opening these two new strategic connections with the Salento region.
From Malpensa we’ll debut as domestic airline offering our flight to Brindisi, while our pioneer connection Verona - Brindisi is an absolutly new daily route.”

Established in 2005 by Captain Giuseppe Gentile, Air Italy is a young and solid company. Although the initial aim of Air Italy was to offer international charter flights, the reliable service provided and the security standards offered made it, in a short time, one of the most important suppliers for Italian tour operators, with 400.000 passengers carried in 2006 and a turnover of 54 million Euro (assets balance closed at October 2006). From autumn 2006 the 40% of the company is hold by the fund “Sinergia con imprenditori” (Synergy with entrepreneurs), managed by Synergo of Gianfilippo Cuneo.
