Valerio Catullo Airport is fully equiped to host families with children. In the dedicated area, there are toilets with changing table and bathrooms for children. In the departures and arrivals terminal there are 2 game areas that are been equipped for children.

Under-age passengers
Children from 0 to 2 years of age
Two infants can travel with two adults, but for security reasons they must be in different rows since each row only has one extra oxygen mask in the case of an emergency. Alternatively, a ticket could be purchased for one of the two infants entitling him to his own seat.

From 2 to under 12 years of age
The child has his/her own seat and usually pays a reduced price for his/her ticket.

Unaccompanied Minors.
Any child from 4 to under 12 years of age who is travelling alone must be identified when making a booking .
This automatically activates a specific assistance procedure on the part of our staff up to the moment the child embarks, and then special assistance by Airline staff once on board. Embarkation of minors precedes the embarkation of other passengers. The parent/guardian must stay in the airport until the aircraft takes off.

If this same service is desired for a child between the ages 12 and 14 ( young traveller ), it must specifically asked for when making the booking.

Children between 4 months and under 4 years of age can also travel un-accompanied but in this case, an " extra hostess " must be booked and paid for. This hostess will only be responsible for taking care of the child during the flight.
Unaccompanied minors must have a birth certificate including photo issued by the city council Registry office and validated by for travel abroad at Police Headquarters (Questura).
