After the strong and constant traffic increase proclaimed in recent months and confirmed at the end of July (+14,1%), Catullo offers more car parking lots for travellers.
Starting from Saturday 4th August the new P6 area, which is located about one kilometre far from the terminal, will be operative for medium and long term parking.
The new area, which has already obtained good results among air-travellers, offers 390 covered and 90 uncovered parking places and can be easily reached from Verona, as well as from the motorway: after driving about one km beyond the airport towards Villafranca, just follow the driving directions at the large roundabout in Dossobuono. The parking is also well visible from the by-pass highway.
An on-going and free shuttle service is operative 7 days a week, for 24 hours a day, to transfer passengers to and from the terminal.
The daily tariff for the new P6 area is only 7 euros and the special conditions agreed with tour operators and travel agencies are the same as for the other medium and long term parking areas (35 euro per week).
“Thanks to this new service expansion, the total number of places available at Catullo is now 4.000, 1.000 of which are covered, and the daily tariff starts from 3 euros” – commented Umberto Solimeno, General Manager of Aeroporti Sistema del Garda – “We have implemented both quantity and type of parking facilities for our increasing number of passengers”.
